Hi there! My name is Matthew Dunlap and I'm a senior at Austin Community College with a major in Software Development. I have experience working as an electrician and control engineers and also work on guitars as a hobby. Projects that I've worked on include replacing residential electrical equipment such as power outlets and pigtails for house appliances (e.g. dryers), replacing pickups in electric guitars, and configured automation equipment and radios for water wells and towers.

Here's a picture of my little brother's guitar where we replaced the original single-coil neck pickup with a Seymor Duncan Hot Rail.

Here's another picture of the 4 wire dryer cord connection that I installed. After moving to a new home with a 4 prong outlet, the 3 wire cord had to be replaced in order to continue using the dryer.

My aspirations are to become a senior full-stack developer, a semi-professional luthier, and create/release music that receives airtime on the radio. My hobbies are writing music, playing chess, reading (particularly about the history and philosophy of science), running, and automating various everyday tasks. This project will benefit me professionally by gaining technical writing experience which is useful as a full-stack developer. I have two dogs that are amazing and constantly make me smile.
