Introduction
This guide will show you how to replace the pre-motor filter in a Shark Vertex Pro IZ682H vacuum. Vacuum filters accumulate dust and other chunks of trash after every use. Too much dirt and grime can negatively affect the cleaning power of this vacuum by clogging. Be sure to clean the motor and dump the contents in a trash can before replacing the filter to avoid making a dusty mess.

On the bottom of the device handle, you will find a button on the left side. Press and hold this button.

On the body of the device you will find there is a large grey button on the side of the dust cup.

Pressing this button will release the dust cup from the body of the device.

Empty the dust cup if the device has already been in use.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
