Introduction

Use this guide to replace the water filter on your LG LFX25973 Refrigerator.

If your water filter is clogged, your water dispenser may have poor-tasting water and ice cubes, and the flow rate may be reduced. You should change your filter about every six months.

    • You may choose to shut off the water supply to the refrigerator before loosening the filter cartridge or plug. This provides extra protection against leakage while removing the filter.
